The Democratic Party of Washington County and the Democratic Party of Oregon offer candidates running for office in Oregon* access to resources that can give them competitive advantages in an election: The party maintains a list of all registered voters in the state, including voting history, phone numbers obtained from various commercial sources, updates to information supplied by candidates. This data is available to candidates in the form of an on‐line system that lets candidates select voters based on any attributes, produce lists organized for phoning or walking, use electronic maps to divide lists into walkable areas, and upload responses to canvasses.

These systems are available to candidates who:

a) are bona fide Democrats

b) have been authorized for access by the Democratic Party of Washington County

c) have accepted the terms provided by the DPO, and

d) have paid the required fees. (The voter file as described will be provided to campaigns at no charge as an in-kind donation from the DPO. Other add-on features can be supplied as well for a fee.)

*The Democratic Party of Washington may only authorize access to candidates for local office (County Commissioner and below) whose office boundaries are within Washington County. If you are running for House Representative or State Senate, or if the boundaries of the office you’re seeking are split between counties, please inquire directly to the DPO.
