Resolution passed unanimously at the June 27, 2007 meeting of the Washington County Democratic Central Committee.
Whereas House Bill 3020 directs the Department of Transportation to erect and maintain a roadside memorial sign for a pedestrian or a bicyclist killed in motor vehicle accident, and
Whereas HB 3020 is a bipartisan bill co-sponsored by two Washington County Democratic Legislators,
Therefore, the Central Committee of the Washington County Democrats (CCWCD) supports the intent of HB3020 and supports the passage of a law with such intent. And, the CCWCD authorizes the creation of an ad hoc committee to lobby for the passage of such law in the 2008 session.
