Washington County's (and surrounding areas) gay\, lesbian\, bisexual\, and transgender (GLBT) Democrats have organized the Tualatin Valley Stonewall Democratic Caucus (TVSDC).
Contacts will be made by the new organization with the county's GLBT Democrats in order to GOTV and find volunteers and raise money for the coming political campaigns. Washco Dems PCPs who might know GLBT people or their friends or family in Washington and surrounding counties are urged to put them in touch with Carmen Dunnington\, TVSDC Chair (carmen_precinct350 at comcast.net)\, or Lee Coleman\, TVSDC Secretary (LincolnDem at aol.com).

Senator Suzanne Bonamici and Representatives Mitch Greenlick and Chris Harker invite the community to a joint town hall meeting at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center
Senator Suzanne Bonamici (Senate District 17) and Representatives Mitch Greenlick (House District 33) and Chris Harker (House District 34) will hold a joint town hall meeting at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center on Wednesday\, July 9\, 2008. Legislators will make brief remarks beginning at 6\:30 pm to kick off the discussion with community members about important issues facing Oregon and the upcoming 2009 Legislative Session. The meeting will conclude at 8\:00 pm with closing comments from the legislators.
